مرض باركنسون هو مرض من امراض اضطرابات النظام الحركي في جسم الإنسان وهو اضطراب مزمن في حركة الجسم يحدث عادة في كبار السن، ويبدأ تدريجيا بسبب خسارة خلايا الدماغ المنتجة للدوبامين وهي مادة كيميائية التي ترسل رسائل إلى جزء من الدماغ الذي يتحكم في الحركة والتنسيق. الهزّة هي العلامة الرئيسية لبعض المرضى وتصلب العضلات وبطء الحركة التي هي الخصائص الرئيسية لهذا المرض، تختلف اعراض المرض من شخص الى أخرى ولأيمكن الشفاء من هذا المرض لهذا يجب على المريض استخدام الادوية للتخفيف من اعراض المرض.
