١- أهداف دينية:

٢- أهداف دبلوماسية و سياسية:
و هنا غالبًا يركز المتعلم على التحدث و الإستماع أكثر من غيرها، و أما مصادر التعلم لهذا الهدف فهي قليلة.
٣- أهداف إعلامية:
يركز المتعلمون هنا على القراءة و التحدث و الإستماع، و مصادر التعلم ليست منظمة و هي أعمال فردية.
٤- أهداف جامعية:
هو هدف الطلاب الراغبين بالدراسة في الجامعات العربية و غالبًا قد درسوا مقرر بالعربية في الثانوية.
٥- أهداف إقتصادية:
عادة ما يتعلم التجار العربية لأجل التجارة من بيع و شراء و غالبًا يركزون على اللهجة المحلية.
