شهدت محافظة الإسكندرية في مصر موجة سيول جديدة نتيجة تساقط الأمطار الرعدية مما أدى لغرق الشوارع وارتفاع منسوب المياه في كافة أنحاء المدينة دون سقوط قتلى أو مصابين. فيما أكدت مصادر طبية في البحيرة وفاة 3 وإصابة 21 شخصا بقرية عفونة التابعة لمركز وادي النطرون، على خلفية اجتياح الأمطار الغزيرة والسيول للقرية فجر اليوم.
وسادت حالة من الشلل المروري بجميع شوارع المدينة، وتوقفت حركة الترام والسيارات فيما قررت سلطات ميناء الإسكندرية إغلاق ميناءي بوغازي الإسكندرية والدخيلة، أمام حركة الملاحة البحرية، بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية، وزيادة سرعة الرياح وارتفاعات الأمواج.
