سقطت قطرة عسل على الأرض ، فجاءت نمل

سقطت قطرة عسل على الأرض ، فجاءت نملة صغيرة فتذوّقت العسل .
ثم حاولت الذهاب لكن مذاق العسل راق لها ، فعادت وأخذت رشفة أخرى . ثم أرادت الذهاب ، لكنها شعرت بأنها لم تكتفِ بما ارتشفته من العسل على حافة القطرة ، و قرّرت أن تدخل في العسل لتستمع به أكثر وأكثر .
دخلت النملة في قطرة العسل وأخذت تستمتع به ، لكنها لم تستطع الخروج منه ، لقد كبّل قوائمها ، والتصقت بالأرض ولم تستطع الحركة وظلّت على هذه الحال إلى أن ماتت .
لو اكتفت النملة بقليل من العسل ما كانت لتموت .
يقول الحكماء ما الدنيا إلاّ قطرة عسل كبيرة ، فمن اكتفى بارتشاف القليل من عسلها نجا ، ومن غرق في بحر عسلها هلك
