لقد ساعدت تكنولوجيا المعلومات بإدخال النمط الالكتروني في الاعمال الادارية، بمعنى ان جُل الانشطة الادارية اليوم المتعلقة بالموارد البشرية و غيرها اصبحت تتم عبر الشبكة دون الحاجة إلى اوراق و تكاليف الطبع و الحفظ، و هذا من شأنه المساهمة مباشرة في التحكم في التكاليف و التقليل من استهلاك الاوراق و الحبر و غيرها من المواد ( تكاليف نشر المعلومة)
