مهرجان بابل الدولي

مهرجان بابل الدولي فأن الحلة مشهورة بقيامها لمهرجان بابل الدولي وهو يضم عدد من الفعاليات الثقافيه التي تعبر عن عراقة هذه المدينة والبلد ومنها معارض للفنون التشكيلية وعدد من المسرحيات والافلام وبعض العروض الكلاسيكية ويشارك في هذا الحدث عدد كبير من المفكرين العرب والاجانب.
نظم مهرجان بابل الدولي لأول مرة عام 1987 فيما توقفت الحكومة العراقية عن تنظيم المهرجان بعد عام 1992 وعادت لتستأنفه في السنوات الأخيرة التي سبقت الحرب في عام 2003.وقد اقيم هذا المهرجان اخر مرة في شهر مايو من عام 2012 وقد لاقى نجاحآ كبيرا و تضمن تنظيم مهرجان بابل الشعري العالمي بمشاركة 45 شاعرا يقدمون على مدى ثلاثة أيام قراءات مع الشعراء الأجانب وفعالية (ندوة بابل للقصة و رواية) بمشاركة خمسة عشر روائيا و قاصا عراقيا و عربيا و فعالية (ندوة بابل للثقافات العراقية ) وهي مخصصة للثقافات العراقية
