أعلنت الشركة الصينية للبتروكيماويات والمعروفة باسم ساينوبيك عن شراء 33% من استثمارات شركة آباتشي للنفط في مصر مقابل مايزيد عن 3 مليارات دولار.
وصل الإنتاج اليومي لشركة آباتشي الأمريكية في مصر إلى ما يقرب من 100 ألف برميل نفط و 110 ألف متر مكعب من الغاز الطبيعي خلال عام 2012.
وتعد الصين ثاني أكثر الدول استهلاكا للنفط بشكل خاص ومصادر الطاقة بشكل أعم على مستوى العالم وذلك بعد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وتعتمد على استيراد النفط والغاز بشكل أساسي لتلبية حاجاتها.
وقال مدير شركة آباتشي إن ساينوبيك تعتبر شريكا هاما وأساسيا لشركات الطاقة الأمريكية وتوسيع أعمالها وشراكتها معهم في القاهرة يعتبر خطوة جيدة للطرفين.
وتتركز أعمال الشركة في مصر في أماكن غير مأهولة ولا تتاثر بالأحداث السياسية الجارية في مصر والعالم العربي.
وتسعى شركات الطاقة الصينية إلى تامين إمدادات النفط والغاز للصين على شكل طويل الأمد حيث قامت ساينوبيك قبل 3 أشهر بتوقيع عقد أخر لشراء 10% من حقل النفط الأنغولي التابع لشركة ماراثون الأمريكية مقابل مليار دولار.
كما اشترت ساينوبيك قبل عامين 5% من أسهم نفس الحقل في أغولا من شركة فرنسية.
كما وقعت الشركة الصينية نفسها عقدا مطلع العام الجاري مع ديفون الأمريكية لشراءثلث حقوق استكشاف حقول نفطية في الولايات المتحدة.
وتتوقع ساينوبيك وديفون تنقيب ما يزيد على 125 بئر نفط العام الجاري فقط في المنطقة التى يعملون فيها حاليا داخل الأراضي الأمريكية.
