In our constant efforts to improve our efficiency and reduce complexity within the organization, the 3rd of January marked a new organizational structure for the Transportation section. Changes are as follows:

1. Rig Moves, Stand-by, supply and crew change teams will be functioning under the Operations Department
2. Transportation Maintenance team (Light and Heavy vehicles, tires and batteries) will be functioning under the Engineering and Maintenance Department
3. Transportation Safety and fleet management team as well as overhead (office and Pool car) drivers will be functioning under the QM-HSSE Department
4. Field drivers will be considered part of the field crew and will hence be under the Rig management supervision

We would like to advise that Transportation mail groups will remain active and weekly meetings shall remain as is between the teams. We will also be working on updating the transportation procedures and placing a retention plan for some of the positions in the transportation team.

This restructure is believed to give the Operations Department a better focus on the rig moves and improve efficiency of the rig fleet monitoring.

Also, involving the QM-HSSE Department will allow emphasis on the transportation safety independently from the operational side and the transportation repairs will have a more structured approach being under the Engineering Department.

EDC will continue to work on improving its internal structures in order to attain the optimum effectiveness possible within the organization.
