إن القضية الفلسطينية في مقدمة اهتماماتنا، ويظل موقف المملكة العربية السعودية كما كان دائماً، مستنداً إلى ثوابت ومرتكزات تهدف جميعها إلى تحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل في المنطقة، وعلى أساس استرداد الحقوق المشروعة للشعب الفلسطيني؛ بما في ذلك حقه المشروع في إنشاء دولته المستقلة، وعاصمتها القدس الشريف، وهو أمر يتفق مع قرارات الشرعية الدولية، ومبادرة السلام العربية عام 2002م التي رحب بها المجتمع الدولي وتجاهلتها إسرائيل.

The Palestinian issue at the forefront of our concerns, and remains the position of Saudi Arabia as ever, based on the fundamentals and foundations of all aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region, and on the basis of recovery of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people; including the project right to establish their independent state and Jerusalem as its capital, which is consistent with the resolutions of international legitimacy, the Arab peace initiative in 2002, which was welcomed by the international community and Israel ignored.
