ويشير كل من أحمد خاطر وعلي البيك (1996) أن الأسلوب العلمي السليم هو أساس الوصول للمستويات الرياضية المتقدمة ، كما أن أسلوب الارتجال والتخمين لا يجني من ورائه إلا تقدم محدود وقد يكون سريعا في بادئ الأمر ، ولكنه سرعان ما يتوقف عند مستويات معينة ولكي يستمر المستوى الرياضي في التقدم وحتى مع المستويات العالية لابد من التعرف علي المواصفات والقدرات التي يجب ان تتوافر لدى الفرد الذي يزاول نشاطا معينا والتي يمكنه من تحقيقه ( 10 : 13)
