قال أهل العلم : والجيران ثلاثة :

1 ـ جار قريب مسلم ؛ فله حق الجوار ، والقرابة ، والإسلام .

2 ـ وجار مسلم غريب قريب ؛ فله حق الجوار ، والإسلام .

3 ـ وجار كافر ؛ فله حق الجوار ، وإن كان قريباً فله حق القرابة أيضاً .

فهؤلاء الجيران لهم حقوق : حقوق واجبة ، وحقوق يجب تركها .

The scholars said: the three neighbors:1 close neighbor Muslim; it has the right of neighbourliness, kinship, and Islam.2 and the ongoing Muslim stranger nearby; it is right nearby, and Islam.3 being an infidel; the right nearby, and soon had the right to kinship, too.These neighbors have rights: rights due, and must be left behind.
