في إنجيل يوحنا الفصل -14- رقم -15و16- ( إن كنتم تحبونني فاحفظوا وصاياي وأنا أطلب من الأب فيعطيكم معزيا آخر ليمكث معكم إلى الأبد ).

و في الفصل -16- رقم -5و8- ( وأما الآن فأنا ماضٍ إلى الذي أرسلني وليس أحد منكم يسألني أين تمضي؟ لأني قلت لكم هذا قد ملأ الحزن قلوبكم لكوني أقول لكم الحق أنه خير لكم أن أنطلق لأنه إن لم أنطلق لا يأتيكم المعزى ولكن إن ذهبت أرسله إليكم(2)[7]ومتى جاء ذلك يبكت العالم على خطية على بردينونة ).
