إنجيل البشير متى (حرفيا "نسبت إلى الرسول متى ") بالاغريقية (Κατά Μαθθαίον or Κατά Ματθαίον). هذا الانجيل هو أحد الاناجيل الاربعة التي هي ضمن العهد الجديد الكتاب الذي يعتمده المسيحيين في حياتهم. الأناجيل الاربعة هي ضمن العهد الجديد من الكتاب المقدس والتي تم طباعتها بصورة تقليدية ابتداء من :متى ويليه وبحسب الترتيب مرقس ولوقا ومن ثم يوحنا. إنجيل متى يسمى تقليديا بأ نجيل متى البشير أو المبشر. يمكن تقسيم إنجيل متى إلى أربع هيكليات "أقسام" منفصلة ومتميزة: أثنان منها تأهيلية "مقدمة"، والجزء الثالث الأهم الذي يمكن اعادة تقسيمه إلى خمسة اقسام، حيث كل قسم من هذه الأقسام مصحوبة بشرح عن حياة المسيح. وأخيرا "رابعا" قسم الام المسيح وقيامته.

شرح عن نسب, ولادة, وطفولة المسيح (متى اصحاح 1و2).
شرح عن أعمال يوحنا المعمدان التي تحضر لحياة السيد المسيح العلنية (متى اصحاح 3 و4:11).
شرح عن اعمال المسيح في الجليل (متى اصحاح 26-4:12):
الموعضة على الجبل المتعلقة بأعطاء دروس في التصرف والأخلاق (متى اصحاح 5 و 7)
شرح عن الرسالة التبشيرية التي هي الرسالة التي اوكلها المسيح لتلاميذه (متى اصحاح 10 و 11)
شرح عن الأمثال التي تتضمن قصص تحكي عن ملكوت الله (متى اصحاح 13)
شرح عن مكانة التلاميذ في الكنيسة المتعلقة عن علاقة الميحيين بعضهم ببعض (متى اصحاح 18 و 19:1)
شرح عن نهاية العالم وتدعى أيضا علامات نهاية الزمان "التي تحدث عنها السيد المسيح بينما هو جالس في جبل الزيتون" والمتعلقة عن مجيء المسيح الثاني ونهاية العالم (متى اصحاح 24 و 26:1)
الام وموت وقيامة السيد المسيح ومن ثم مهمة الرسل بعد هذه الأحداث (متى اصحاح 20-28:16).
