عندما تكون الحكومة هي المسئولة عن رفع الاسعار للمواد أو الخدمات ذات العلاقة بمكونات العقود الجاري تنفيذها أو بعضها ، يجوز للجنة المناقصات تعديل قيمة الجزء المتبقي من العقد من تاريخ الأثر ، بعد ان يصدر مجلس الادارة الضوابط اللازمة لذلك بحسب كل حالة على حده عند العرض على المجلس في حينه.
