هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس تأثير معامل المرونة في هيكل التمويل في تحديد القرارات المالية. وأثبتت هذه الدراسة أن تغير نسب مزيج الهيكل المالي من المصادر التمويلية الممتلكة والمقرضة يحقـق مرونة عالية. كما أنه يسهم في تعظيم العائد وتقليل تكلفة التمويل المدفوعة للمساهمين كـثمن لاسـتثمار أموالهم. كما أنها تزيد من نسبة الربح المتحقق على مجموعة الموارد المالية المـستخدمة فـي تمويـل الاستثمارات .( عبد الرحمن،1987)
