The Internet was designed to be decentralized and in fact was originally designed by the US military to allow it to ‘survive a nuclear war’. The Internet is a network of computer networks forming a vast worldwide networking infrastructure. The Internet connects millions of computers together, forming a network which allows any computer to communicate with other computers connected to the Internet.
