تشخيص سرطان الجلد
ينبغي استشارة الطبيب المعالج عند ملاحظة ورم جديد في الجلد ، تغيير في مظهر او ملمس الشامات او ظهور جرح لا يلتئم في غضون اسبوعين.
من اجل الحصول على تشخيص موثوق ومؤكد بان الورم هو سرطاني في الجلد ، فينبغي ان ياخذ الطبيب المعالج عينة صغيرة من الجلد المصاب (خزعة - Biopsy) ليتم فحصها وتشخيصها في المختبر. ويمكن اخذ الخزعة، عادة، في غرفة الطبيب باستخدام التخدير الموضعي فقط.
