Therefore , this study will apply the system (ramp metering) on a highway to the city of Riyadh , which suffers from frequent congestion during the day by simulation of traffic programs. Where it will determine the study area based on specific criteria, and will combine the data from the study area it is analyzed and entered into the simulation software , where it is calibrated transactions relating to the behavior of drivers and the nature of the study area to consensus data from reality and then we work several scenarios for the application of the system and get the best performance.
The study will conclude a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of the system in the city of Riyadh comparing the current situation of the road with the situation after the application of this system, which in turn will give a vision for decision - makers in the city Awaljhat Responsible to use the system or not.
