العراق: يتعين على السلطات كبح جماح القوات وسط مزاعم تعذيب وقتل لمحتجزين

قالت منظمة العفو الدولية اليوم إنه يتعين على السلطات العراقية أن تكبح جماح جميع القوات المشاركة في استعادة الفلوجة، إثر ورود تقارير بأن رجالاً وفتياناً فارين من صفوف الجماعة المسلحة التي تطلق على نفسها اسم "الدولة الإسلامية" قد تعرضوا للتعذيب ولغيره من ضروب سوء المعاملة على أيدي الميليشيات المدعومة من الحكومة، وبأن ما لا يقل عن ثلاثة من هؤلاء قد فارقوا الحياة نتيجة للتعذيب.  

وقد تحدثت منظمة العفو الدولية إلى ضحايا وصفوا التعذيب وغيره من ضروب سوء المعاملة التي تعرضوا لها أثناء احتجازهم، وادعوا أنهم قد شهدوا حالات قتل بأم أعينهم.

وتعليقاً على هذه المعاملة، قال فيليب لوثر، مدير برنامج الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا في منظمة العفو الدولية، إنه "يتعين حماية المدنيين الذين يخاطرون بحياتهم للهرب من فظاعات "الدولة الإسلامية"، ومدّهم بالمساعدات الإنسانية التي يحتاجون إليها بصورة يائسة. وعوضاً عن ذلك، يبدو أن البعض يواجهون تحدي الإخضاع للمزيد من الانتهاكات والهجمات الانتقامية".
