2- أهداف قريبة : وتكمن هذه الأهداف في توفير سبل الوقاية من جانب والعلاج من جانب ثاني للمواطنين الذين يحتاجون لذلك ويكون عن طريق التعامل مع المريض وظروفه التي تكون محيطه به ، وبذلك يتعامل الطبيب والهيئات والأقسام الطبية لكي تسهل الاجراءات ولكي تحقق الرعاية الطبية وأهدافها من خلال الاهداف العلاجية والوقائية والإنشائية .


3- أهداف وقائية : وتكون هذه الأهداف من خلال معرفة أو إثارة الوعي لدى المواطنين بالأمراض والأعراض لهذه الأمراض والوقاية منها ويتم تثقيفهم لأسهل طرق العلاج وأن يعرف المواطن بالمؤسسات الطبية التي تقدم له فرص العلاج ، ويتم تدريبهم على الاسعافات الأولية والوقاية من المرض ، ويتم كل ذلك من خلال الندوات ووسائل الاعلام والمؤتمرات .....الخ ، لكي يتم الوصل لهذه الأهداف .

4- أهداف علاجية : يكون ذلك من خلال الجلوس والعمل مع المريض المحتاج للخدمة الاجتماعية ، لكي يتحسن أدائه الاجتماعي.

5- أهداف إنشائية : بمعنى أن يتم من خلالها تكيف المريض مع البيئه المحيطة به ، وإرجاعه أو إعادته للحياة الاجتماعية واستعادة أكبر قدر من قدرات المريض البدنية والنفسية والاجتماعية وذلك من خلال التأهيل الاجتماعي والطبي والمهني والنفسي .
