منحت الاكاديمية النرويجية لجائزة نوبل للسلام الجائزة لهذا العام 2009 للرئيس الأمريكي باراك أوباما. كان القرار مفاجأة للجميع ، فمن مؤيد ومن معارض
بدون اي شك لا يستحق اوباما جائزة نوبل للسلام حيث منذ استلامه للحكم لا يوجد له اي اجاز يذكر لتحقيق السلام في العالم وما زال يعمل على احتلال العراق ونهب ثرواته هذا بالنسبة للعراق اما بالنسبة لفلسطين فهو يرى بل يشجع اسرائيل على كل ما تقوم به اتجاه للفسطينيين بدون اي مساعي للعمل على تحسين الوضع الفلسطيني.
