الموارد المائية:


تعتمد جمهورية مصر العربية في مصادرها المائية علي ثلاثة مصادر أساسية للمياه العذبة هي: المياه الفيضية التي تتمثل في نهر النيل ومياه الأمطار والسيول ثم المياه الجوفية.

الموارد المعدنية والبترول:

تمتلك جمهورية مصر العربية ثروة عظيمة من المعادن الهامة مثل الفوسفات والحديد الخام، بالإضافة إلى الذهب والبترول.

الاقتصاد المصري:



يعد الاقتصاد المصري ثاني أكبر اقتصاد في المنطقة العربية بعد المملكة العربية السعودية بناتج محلي إجمالي بلغ 500.9 مليار دولار بحسب التقديرات الرسمية لعام (2010)، والثاني إفريقيا بعد جنوب إفريقيا، والحادي عشر في الشرق الأوسط من حيث دخل الفرد.

الاقتصاد المصري يتميز بكونه واحدا من أكثر اقتصاديات دول منطقة الشرق الأوسط تنوعا ، حيث يعتمد بشكل رئيسي على الزراعة، وعائدات قناة السويس، والسياحة، والضرائب، والإنتاج الثقافي والإعلامي، والصادرات البترولية، وتحويلات العمالة بالخارج (أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين مصري يعملون في الخارج يتركز معظمهم بدول الخليج العربية)، تشكل تحويلاتهم النقدية موردا من موارد الاقتصاد، كما تتواجد العمالة المصرية أيضا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وأوروبا وأستراليا.

وتحاول الدولة في أعقاب ثورة يناير 2011، بذل جهودا حثيثة لإعادة الاقتصاد المصري إلي مساره الصحيح وتجاوز العثرات الجمة التي تعرض لها، وذلك عبر تكاتف الجهود داخليا، والانفتاح على العالم خارجياً، في مسعى لبث الديناميكية في الأداء الاقتصادي والمالي.
