وقدم للدراسة الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن عثمان التويجري، المدير العام للإيسيسكو، حيث قال: "إن هذه الدراسة توضح أن الحق في الحرية الدينية يأتي من القواعد الثابتة في القانون الدولي، بحيث لا ينبغي الاتفاق على ما يخالفه، وتؤكد ضرورة وضع آليات قانونية دولية ملزمة، يتم بموجبها احترام الأديان في ظل الواقع الدولي الحالي الذي يشهد توظيفاً متنامياً لوسائل الإعلام من أجل نشر الكراهية الدينية والعنصرية، وتبين أن إساءة وسائل الإعلام الغربية إلى الإسلام تحمل في طياتها كثيراً من المخالفات القانونية التي تتعارض كلية مع قواعد القانون الدولي، وذلك من خلال استعراض سلسلة من القواعد القانونية، سواء المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقيات الدولية، أو في الإعلانات والقرارات الدولية، وفي بعض الاجتهادات القضائية".
