في اليمن الواقعه على البحر العربي مازالت هذه المدينه حتى اليوم تحتفظ بالكثير من المعالم الاثريه والتاريخيه مثل قصر السلطان القعيطي الذي يعد تحفه معماريه تجمع بين فنون العماره الاسلاميه ومن ابرز المعالم ايضا حصن الغويزي ويعد خور المكلا من اجمل المعالم السياحيه التي تلفت الزائر للمدينه ، وتمتاز المكلا بطابع سياحي خاص جدا جعل منها وحهه سياحيه لكثير من السياح ، يستطيع السياح التمتع بمناظر المدينه والتجول لمسافات قصيره بواسطه الخيول ، والاشياء التي يمكن للسياح فعلها هي تجربه الاكلات الشعبيه وشرب الشاي العدني و اخذ الصور لهذه المدينه الجميله ، وعندما يريد السياح الاقامه فهناك فنادق عديده تطل على الشواطئ مثل فندق حضرموت وفندق هوليدي ان ، مدينه المكلا من اجمل المدن التي احبها وانتمي اليها بسبب بساطتها وجمال اجوائها وبساطه اهلها وجمال مناظر شواطئها
