تعتبر مشكلة الرفع المالي في الشركات المساهمة العامة هامة جداً بسبب تأثيرها الكبير على أداء الشركات حيث تم قياس هذا الاداء بواسطة مؤشر العائد على الاستثمار، حيث أن الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تحليل هذه العلاقة من خلال تطبيق الدراسة على الشركات العامة المساهمة العاملة في فلسطين حيث أنه تم أخذ عينة من 5 شركات في القطاع الفلسطيني،واعتمدت الدراسة على التحليل الوصفي للبيانات المالية، والتحليل الكمي من خلال التطبيق BSS ، وأوصت الدراسة بزيادة التمويل بالملكية وخفض التمويل بالقروض بقدر الإمكان، مع مراعاة درجة المخاطرة
