تعتبر وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي مضيعه للوقت بشكل كبير. وذلك لأن الأطفال يستخدمون هذه الوسائل في أغلب الوقت. قد يؤدي إستخدام هذه الوسائل بشكل كبير إلى الإدمان وبالتالي إلى مشكله تريد حل. هذا الإدمان قد يؤدي إلى مشاكل إجتماعيه وجسميه ومدرسيه أيضا . مثل عدم القيام بالواجبات المدرسيه، تفضيل الأصدقاء الوهميين أكثر من الحقيقيين، إكتساب عادات سيئه لا تعود بالفائده عليهم.
