استخدمت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تم الرجوع إلى الأدب السابق حول الموضوع لتوضيح الخلفية النظرية للدراسة ، وبالاستناد إلى الأدب السابق والدراسات السابقة ثم تصميم استبانة استهدفت جمع البيانات المتعلقة بالموضوع، بعد ذلك تم تحليل البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا لاستخراج النتائج ومقارنتها.
وان استخدام الباحثة لهذا المنهج يرجع لكونه يقوم بوصف خصائص ظاهرة معينة، وجمع المعلومات عنها، ويتطلب ذلك عدم التحيز أثناء الوصف، كما انه أسلوب يعتمد على دراسة الواقع أو الظاهرة، كما توجد على أرض الواقع، ويهتم بوصفها وصفاً دقيقاً، ويعبر عنها تعبيراً كيفياً وكمياً.
