إن القضية الفلسطينية في مقدمة اهتماماتنا، ويظل موقف المملكة العربية السعودية كما كان دائماً، مستنداً إلى ثوابت ومرتكزات تهدف جميعها إلى تحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل في المنطقة، وعلى أساس استرداد الحقوق المشروعة للشعب الفلسطيني؛ بما في ذلك حقه المشروع في إنشاء دولته المستقلة، وعاصمتها القدس الشريف، وهو أمر يتفق مع قرارات الشرعية الدولية، ومبادرة السلام العربية عام 2002م التي رحب بها المجتمع الدولي وتجاهلتها إسرائيل.

His Excellency the President:The Palestinian issue in the forefront, and Saudi Arabia's position remains as it has always been based on constants and the foundations were intended to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the region, and on the basis of recovering the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their legitimate right to establish their own independent State, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif, which is consistent with the resolutions of international legitimacy, and the Arabic peace initiative of 2002, which was welcomed by the international community and ignored by Israel.
