إختلاف مراحل السلوك اللغوي أمر لابد منه ، يمر الطفل من مرحلة الميلاد واللتي يكون التواصل في هذه المرحلة بلغة غير منطوقة الى مرحلة ماقبل المدرسة تقريبا مرحلة الخمس سنوات حيث يتمكن الطفل في هذه المرحلة من فهم الكلام واستخدامه بطريقة سليمة ولكن ذلك لايعني بأن الطفل اكتسب جميع المهارات اللغوية فهو يحتاج لوقت أطول ، بعد دخوله للمدرسة ينتقل من مرحلة تعلمه للغة الشفهية اللتي اكتسبها من محيط منزله إلى مرحلة تعلمه للغة المكتوبة داخل
المدرسة هذا التحول سيمكنه من تطوير المهارات والإكتسابات اللغوية . تطور السلوك اللغوي لطفل بعد دخول المدرسة يعتمد غالباً على المهارات الإجتماعية حيث يبدأ الطفل بتقليد زملائه
واساتذته من خلال المقارنة في نطق الكلمات بينه و بين من يتعامل معهم في المحيط المدرسي بالتالي يكتسب النطق الصحيح للكلمات . يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح أهمية السلوك اللغوي عند الأطفال و مراحل إكتسابه ، كذلك توضيح الفرق بين لغة الطفل اللتي يكتسبها في محيط منزله " اي قبل مرحلة التمدرس " وبين لغته اللتي يكتسبها في محيط المدرسة " اي بعد الخمس سنوات تقريباً
