لابد ان يدرك الطلاب من خلال التعليم الطريقه الصحيحه لاستخدام التكنولجيا حيث ان التكنولوجيا الحديثة أصبحت سلاحًا ذا حَدَّين، حيث إن الفارق بين إيجابية التكنولوجيا وسلبياتها في العصر الحديث، يتوقف على مدى استخدام الفرد لها، فإذا استخدمها الفرد كنوع من المعرفة، ومسايرة الواقع، ومعرفة ما يدور خارج النطاق الذي يعيش فيه، كأن يتابع الأخبار العالمية عبر التليفزيون، أو يحادث أصدقاءه على الإنترنت، أصبح إيجابيًّا، والعكس، إذا لم يستخدمه بالشكل الصحيح، يصبح سلبيًّا؛ بحيث يستخدمه في غير موضعه، كتضييع الوقت، أو ما شابه، أو أصبح إدمانًا لدى هذا الشخص، لا يستطيع الإقلاع عنه كإدمان المواد المخدرة، التي تنعكس على الشخص بانعكاسات سلبية، وتنشئ اضطرابات في السلوك الإنساني.
استخدام التعليم لتعزيز المواطنة الديمقراطية من خلال مبادئ التعاون والمشاركة والحوار واحترام رأى الآخر ،إذ أن غرس القيم الديمقراطية السليمة والوعى والقدرة على التفكير الناقد القائم على أسس علمية سليمة يساعد المجتمعات على نبذ كل أشكال العنف والصراع والنظرة الضيقة للأمور
