وجاءت لائحة العقوبات بعد موافقة معالي وزير العمل الدكتور مفرج الحقباني على قرار تضمن، اعتماد لائحة محددة للعقوبات والغرامات، في حين انقسمت العقوبات في اللائحة لقسمين الأول يشمل 58 مخالفة عقوبتها لا تتجاوز نصف الحد الأعلى لعقوبتي الغرامة المالية بـ100 ألف ريال أو إغلاق المنشأة لمدة لا تزيد على ثلاثين يوما
