مسجد الحسن الثاني هو مسجد يقع في ساحل مدينة الدار البيضاء، بالمغرب، وهو أكبر مسجد في البلاد و سابع أكبر مسجد في العالم، مئذنته أندلسية الطابع ترتفع 210 متر(689 قدم) وهي أعلى بناية دينية في العالم[1].

شرع في بنائه سنة 1987 م تم أكمل بنائه ليلة المولد النبوي يوم 11 ربيع الأول 1414/30 أغسطس 1993، في فترة حكم ملك المغرب الحسن الثاني.[1]

تشكل الأبنية الملحقة بالمسجد مَجْمَعًا ثقافيّا متكاملاً،، وبني جزئيا على البحر بمساحة 9 هكتارات (فدان) ويضم قاعة للصلاة، وقاعة الوضوء و دورة المياه، مدرسة قرآنية، مكتبة ومتحف . بالإضافة إلى تلبيسه بزخارف "الزليج" أو فسيفساء الخزف الملون على الأعمدة والجدران وأضلاع المئذنة وهامتها والحفر على خشب الأرز، الذي يجلِّد صحن المسجد وأعمال الجبص المنقوش الملون في الحنايا والأفاريز.[1]

تتسع قاعة الصلاة بمساحتها الـ20,000 م² لـ25,000 مُصلي إضافة إلى 80,000 مصلى في الباحة. يتوفر المسجد علي تقنيات حديثة منها السطح التلقائي (يفتح ويغلق آليًا) وأشعة الليزر يصل مداها إلى 30 كلم في إتجاه مكة المكرمة.[1]

وقد صمم من قبل المهندس المعماري الفرنسي ميشال بينسو، وتم بنائه من طرف من قبل المجموعة الفرنسية بويج (Bouygues)، وتكفلت بإدارة المشروع المؤسسة المغربية التابعة لها بيمارو
