تناولت بعض الدراسات السابقة القيمة

تناولت بعض الدراسات السابقة القيمة السوقية وأثر متغيرات أخرى عليها، مثل دراسة أبو شنب (2008) والتي درست أثر العوائد والمخاطر على القيمة السوقية، أو أثر الهيكل المالي وسياسة توزيع الأرباح على قيمة المؤسسة في دراسة الضب (2009)، وقد تناولت دراسات أخرى هيكل رأس المال أو المزيج التمويلي وأثره على متغيرات اخرى مثل دراسة باتيندن (Pattenden, 2006) والتي تناولت قرارات هيكل رأس المال بموجب الأنظمة الضريبية، أما هذه الدراسة فقد تناولت موضوع المزيج التمويلي وأثره على القيمة السوقية وهذا ما ميزها عن بعض الدراسات السابقة.
2- تميزت أيضا هذه الدراسة باختلاف مجتمع الدراسة حيث ستطبق على الشركات الصناعية الأردنية، على عكس الدراسات السابقة والتي طبقت على مجتمعات مختلفة، مثل دراسة المحادين (2010) والتي طبقت على قطاع التأمين، ودراسة سينجابوروكو (Singapurwoko, 2011)والتي طبقت على الشركات الغير مدرجة في بورصة اندونيسيا.
